Jungian Synchronicity in Astrological Signs and Ages

In this lecture Alice Howell will show us in her unique, original way the relevance of astrological signs to self acceptance, deeper understanding, and healing of the individual psyche. She will touch on the relevance of astrology to the evolution of the collective unconscious and the astronomical ages (a span of 12,000 years) and the development of human consciousness as shown in history through mythological and religious symbolism. This leads us logically step-by-step to the present tasks and potential traps for humanity in the coming age.

ALICE O. HOWELL, A.F.A., is a former faculty member of the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles and the Jung Foundation of New York. She has become widely known for her pioneering work demonstrating the value of the relationship between astrology and psychotherapy, and has been active in the field of transpersonal psychology. She has recently completed work on her book, Far In, Far Out: Letters from an Astrologer to a Jungian Analyst.
