Homeopathy: The Soul in the Inner and Outer World
April 20, 1990 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm PDT
In this lecture we shall explore homeopathy as a process of soul-making, a creative aligning of the soul of the outer world with the inner soul. Through a careful description of this system of therapeutics brought into relation with the psychology of C.G. Jung, we shall find that homeopathy re-discovers for our time the secret of the Alchemical art: that psyche is the inner essence of outer things. Archetypal images in the mineral, plant, and animal worlds are presented along with a description of the freeing of the soul qualities from the material aspect of these realms through dilution and potentialization. Then, the suggestion that psychological healing is complete only when the capacity to perceive the soul in the outer world is explored. The aim is to show that soul work is a homeopathic art.
