Drawings from the Unconscious

workshop:

The workshop will provide an introduction to understanding the non-verbal language of impromptu drawings as a valid means of communication from the unconscious. The focus will be on complexes, and the negative aspects of complexes that have to die in order to remove the blocks to individuation. Please bring colored pencils and paper.

GREGG FURTH, PH.D. is a Jungian analyst in private practice in New York City, and a graduate of the C.G. Jung Institute of Zurich. He holds a doctorate in counseling with a concentration on the investigation of drawings as a viable aid in counseling and analysis. For over twenty years, he has worked with terminally ill children and adults, including conducting workshops and consulting with Dr. Elizabeth Kuebler-Ross. he is a contributing author in Living with Death and Dying and the author of The Secret World of Drawings: Healing Through Art.
