On Friday evening, Dr. Furth will explore slides from his vast collections of artwork done by clients. He will discuss the importance of art in the process of healing, as well as how to understand it from a Jungian theoretical perspective.

GREGG FURTH, PH.D. is a Jungian analyst in private practice in New York City, and a graduate of the C.G. Jung Institute of Zurich. He holds a doctorate in counseling with a concentration on the investigation of drawings as a viable aid in counseling and analysis. For over twenty years, he has worked with terminally ill children and adults, including conducting workshops and consulting with Dr. Elizabeth Kuebler-Ross. he is a contributing author in Living with Death and Dying and the author of The Secret World of Drawings: Healing Through Art.
