Experiencing the Unitary World: The Quantum, Number, and the Self
March 14 @ 10:00 am - 1:30 pm PDT

This workshop explores the profound connections between quantum mechanics, number, and the Self as manifestations of the unus mundus—the unitary world underlying both matter and psyche. We examine the historical relationship between quantum mechanics and alchemy, tracing Jung’s collaboration with Wolfgang Pauli and the principle of uncertainty that links archetypal psychology with modern physics. Through Jung’s late-life reflections on number as the most primitive manifestation of spirit, we investigate how number functions as an archetype of order, bridging the qualitative and quantitative dimensions of reality. The workshop illuminates these abstract concepts through experiential material.
