Gilda Frantz

GILDA FRANTZ earned her Masters of Arts, Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles, and is a graduate of the C.G. Jung Institute, Los Angeles, where she is Chairman of the Board of Directors and a training analyst. She is an advisory member of the International Symposium on Grief and Bereavement and Secretary of the Executive Board of the National Archive for Research in Archetypal Symbolism. She has spoken frequently in California and in November will take part in the Grief and Bereavement Symposium to be held in Jerusalem.

The part that appears above ground lasts only a single summer. … When we think of the unending growth and decay of life and civilizations, we cannot escape the impression of absolute nullity. Yet I have never lost a sense of something that lives and endures underneath the eternal flux. What we see is the blossom, which passes. The rhizome remains.”
