Hardback, lxxv + 454pp. This edition is a reissue of the 1884 edition by George Bell and Sons, London. This volume contains a short, uncredited Preface, Andrew Lang's Introduction, and 86 tales, followed by notes on them. Volume 2 contains tales number 87 through 200 and an additional 10 "Children's Legends." Vol. 2 also includes notes on the tales and legends, plus an additional 107 pages of Wilhelm Grimm's notes and an index. The tales published in this edition are the same tales (also using Margaret Hunt's translations) published in "The complete Grimm's Fairy Tales," which is also in the Reference and the circulating sections of the OFJ Library. "The complete Grimm's Fairy Tales" lacks Lang's introduction but has an essay by Joseph Campbell.
