Where Peace Comes from in the Psyche: Entering the Alchemical Vessel
December 12 @ 10:00 am - 1:30 pm PST

Peace emerges through a growing relationship with the living depths of the psyche. In these times of collective upheaval, in addition to addressing the effects of the trauma body, the call for the “introversion of war” leads us toward deep inner work as a contribution to the world soul. We must encounter various states of consciousness—including those that are at war or in conflict—in order to co-create a new peace and a new center.
This experiential workshop invites participants into the alchemical laboratory of meditation, active imagination, dream work, and somatic awareness. Together, we will explore how conscious participation with the symbolizing field allows new states of awareness to emerge and supports a deeper relationship with the Self, the body, and the world soul.
Prima materia—the rejected material within us, along with the potential for the transcendent to co-create with us—comes alive when placed within a vessel. Alchemical meditation is this vessel. Alchemically speaking, we “reach for the foot of the angel,” remain present with our vessel, and seek contact with the transcendent that is doing the work alongside us.
Using guided meditations, experiential exercises, active imagination, dream material, and group reflection, participants will explore:
- Working with the somatic unconscious
- Learning to shift the point of awareness
- Developing energetic sensitivity to the symbolizing field
- Learning to see together within the field
- Attunement to the body as an organ of perception
- Accessing the neutral channel and the breath body
- The relationship between personal suffering and spiritual transformation
- The psychoid dimensions of experience
- The role of the Divine Feminine in healing mind-body splitting
- Opening the third eye: the work of Samuel Hagan
- Cultivating an ongoing relationship with the transcendent in daily life
Particular attention will be given to the ways meditation helps us move beyond habitual identification with mental activity and into a deeper embodied presence—in contact with Presence. Through this process, participants will learn practical methods for working with anxiety, trauma-based patterns, and the inner fragmentation characteristic of contemporary life.
The workshop will also explore how individual contemplative practice contributes to the larger collective field through the mysteries of multiplicatio. As we deepen our connection with source, the symbolizing field becomes more available—not only to ourselves, but also to those around us. This is where a new world consciousness is created.
The day is designed as an opportunity to slow down, listen deeply, and engage directly with the alchemical process through which peace emerges from the depths of the psyche.
