Jung Embodied: Seeking the Creative Shadow

The workshop provides a deeper examination of the ideas presented in the Friday night lecture.
Informed by their backgrounds in dance, theater, Jungian and Somatic Psychology, the presenters (Tina Stromsted and Meg Wilbur) will also draw from their extensive training and teaching with Marion Woodman.

MEG WILBUR, MA, MFT, MFA, is a Jungian analyst, with a private practice in Los Angeles and the Central Coast of California. She teaches with Marion Woodman and her team, and serves as a board member of the Woodman Foundation. Meg is a professor emerita in UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television where she taught acting and voice for the stage, and directed plays. She also taught at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and writes and directs her own productions, featuring poetry and fairy tales. She is a founding member and faculty of the C. G. Jung Study Center of Southern California and leads workshops in active imagination, dreams, and voice.
TINA STROMSTED, Ph.D., MFT, LPCC, RSMT/E, BC-DMT, is a Jungian analyst, Board Certified Dance/Movement therapist, Somatics Educator, and author. Former co-founder and faculty of the Authentic Movement Institute, she teaches at the C. G. Jung Institute of San Francisco, Jung Platform, the Marion Woodman Foundation, and at conferences for the International Association for Analytical Psychology. With 45 years of clinical experience in hospitals, community mental health, and private practice, her numerous publications & webinars explore the integration of body, psyche, soul, relationship, community and nature in healing and transformation.
