Slender Threads: Our Connection to the Deeper and Greater Aspect of Being

Slender connecting threads are at work in all our lives, guiding and shaping us. This program explores the value and process of paying attention to those subtle, invisible influences (sometimes called fate, the hand of God, or unconscious processes) as they appear in dreams, synchronicities, relationships, run-ins, symptoms, and physical illness. We will discuss the necessary role of ego in monitoring and filtering the impact of these influences. A mod of Presence will be presented that includes awareness of body, mind, heart, and action.

Jerry M. Ruhl, Ph.D, is a psychologist, teacher, and author living in Longmont, CO. A former trustee of the C.G. Jung Society of Colorado, he more recently served for six years as Executive Director of The Jung Center in Houston. He lectures nationally and maintains a private therapy practice in both Boulder, CO, and Houston, TX. He is the co-author with Robert A. Johnson of three books: Living Your Unlived Life; Contentment: A Way to True Happiness; and Balancing Heaven and Earth.
