The material presented in this volume has an extensive history in
C.G. Jung's publications, having first appeared (in English) in
much-reduced form in "The Integration of the Personality" (1939).
After extensive revision and expansion, Jung's analysis of Pauli's
dreams was published as "Individual Dream Symbolism in Relation
to Alchemy" (CW XII, Section II, ¶44-¶331). The notes in this
Philemon volume from Jung's seminars of 1936 and 1937
provide further elaboration of this material.
