"Spring" ceased publication in Spring 2015.
From 1941 through 1991, "Spring" was published annually.
It became a semi-annual publication in 1992, although
this more frequent publication schedule seems not
to have been achieved consistently -- and eventually
(in 2014?) appears to have returned to one issue per year.
Beginning in 1989, individual issues were assigned unique,
sequential numbers. This sequencing strategy started with
issue #49, reflecting the fact that 48 (unnumbered) annual
issues had been published previously, from 1941 through
1988 (inclusive).
In 2007 (beginning with Volume/Issue #78), these issue numbers
were re-designated as "volume" numbers, even though, at that
time, each volume consisted of only one issue. Subsequently,
in years during which more than one issue was published, each
issue still appears to have constituted a single "volume."
Beginning with issue #54 (Spring 1993), each issue of "Spring"
was given a theme title. These titles are not documented in
this Catalog, and there is currently no online bibliography
which provides a chronological list of issues of "Spring."

covering different (overlapping) periods in its publication history.
To locate these indices in the Fae Dougan Library,
use this Catalog to search with the two keywords "Spring"
and "Index" in the 'Title' field. One of these publications
is based, in part, upon an index for the years 1970-1994
that was published in Issue #56 (Fall 1994).
