SUMMARY:Psyche\, Soma\, and the Living Imagination: Working with the Somatic Unconscious and Healing States
DESCRIPTION:We explore the somatic unconscious\, the “subtle body” in theory and practice\, and examine the value of this work for discovering healing states of consciousness where spirit and body are united in a psycho-physical unitary reality. Dreams that point the way through illness to new emergent states of wholeness and healing will be honored. We also investigate responses to trauma in the nervous system that activate fight\, flight\, freeze\, collapse\, and paralysis. We then venture into how we can form neural pathways from co-regulated restorative relationship with the sensing body to create well-being and harmony.
