SUMMARY:The Evolution of Jungian Psychology: Foundations of Jung's Work

Friday’s presentation and discussion will explore an overview of how Jung’s psychology developed over the course of his lifetime\, from conception to completion\, focusing on his understanding of psychological transformation. We will begin with his personal crisis (1913–1928)\, following the main threads of his creative growth\, through his last mature writing (1951–1954). Grasping the whole of his efforts gives us a broad view that can orient our future learning of his uniqueness. We will accordingly address how Jungian psychology facilitates personal healing.
